Life of a Surgeon’s Wife: Jason in the OR | Personal

As many of you know, I’m married to a surgery resident who is currently in his sixth year of post-med school training and about to start a fellowship in colorectal surgery this August. I’ll write more about the life of a surgery wife another day, but in the meantime, I wanted to share some portraits I took late one night at the hospital.

Thank you for documenting this. I’m sure you have many reasons that led to this. I believe that a physician/surgeon’s partner has a unique window into their world and it helps others understand the career, not just the glorious portrayals of it. I’m sure you are both doing a great job as team, which benefits your oneness and the people he serves.
